Hubballi-Pune Vande Bharat Train Service Approved, Launch Expected Soon
Hubballi: During the Ganesh festival, the central government has given yet another gift to the state—the Vande Bharat train!
Earlier, the central government had offered support prices for crops like greengram, urad, soybean, and sunflower just before the festival. Now, they have given another gift by launching the Vande Bharat train service between Hubballi and Pune.
Responding to the proposal from Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw have given the good news that a second Vande Bharat train between Hubballi and Pune will be launched soon.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has informed Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, who is also the MP for Dharwad, that the Vande Bharat train service between Hubballi and Pune will begin very soon.
Joshi requested for Vande Bharat: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi had written a letter to Ashwini Vaishnaw in the first week of July, urging him to initiate steps for starting the Vande Bharat train service between Hubballi and Pune.
Hubballi-Dharwad twin cities hold the distinction of being a major commercial hub in the state after Bengaluru. Minister Joshi had drawn the Centre’s attention to the fact that the Vande Bharat train service would benefit the commercial, business, and industrial development of the region.
Joshi also emphasized to the Railway Minister that this route would be crucial for connectivity between Hubballi and Mumbai, urging the start of the Vande Bharat train service.
This festive occasion has brought joyful news for the people of Hubballi-Dharwad as the second Vande Bharat Express train will soon operate between Hubballi and Pune, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi shared on Twitter with great delight.
Inauguration day, schedule to be announced soon: The Railway Department will announce the inauguration day and schedule of the Vande Bharat train service as soon as possible, Minister Joshi informed.
